Local Manufacturing

We have manufactured inflatables since 2011 and built over 4,000 of them. Since 2020 we have done it from our own factory at 14 Pommery Road, Nietgedacht, Fourways.

That matters more than it might sound, because many companies selling inflatables in South Africa are not manufacturers at all. They import, rebadge and resell. When something needs fixing, or you want a size that is not on the list, there is nobody to ask.

What buying from the manufacturer gets you

• You are welcome at the factory. By appointment, any weekday — come and see where and how they are made.
• Repairs come back to the people who made it. We know how it went together because we put it together.
• Custom sizes, colours and branding are possible — we control the factory floor, so we are not limited to a catalogue someone else printed.
• You deal with us directly. No importer in the middle.

How we build it

Every inflatable follows the same six steps.

Designed

Patterns are drawn in CAD software in-house. Designing digitally rather than on paper means we are not limited to shapes we can measure and cut by hand — which is why our designs can be more ambitious than they would otherwise be.

Cut on a CNC machine

This is the part almost none of our competitors do. They cut by hand. We cut on a CNC textile cutting machine, fitted with a rotary blade and a drag knife.

• Speed and accuracy — the machine cuts to the pattern, every time
• Consistency — every castle of a given design is identical to the last one
• Better designs — parts can be as complex as the design needs, instead of being limited to what can be measured and cut by hand

Welded and sewn

Almost the whole castle is sewn, on double-needle walking-foot machines. But the key parts — above all the reinforcement over the jump surface and slide surface — are welded rather than stitched, on our welding machines. That one choice is the biggest difference between our inflatables and a cheaper one.

Tested before it leaves

Every inflatable is inflated and tested, then visually inspected before it is packed down into its bag. Nothing goes out that nobody has stood in front of.

Come and see it

We would genuinely rather you came and looked. The factory is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, by appointment — we ask you to arrange it ahead of time so we know to expect you and can have things ready.
